Digital Camera Accessories Panasonic

Looking for a camera carrying case to carry all my accessories?

I'm looking for a camera bag to put all the accessories inside of my camera I have a Panasonic Lumix TMC-TZ5, and have extra batteries, and one SD card, and some extra devices to put it on. What you suggest a bag I could buy? I already have a bag for my camera, but it is somewhat changeable. My budget is a little more lenient. I would grab bags smaller and larger, but obviously I do not need a big ol 'bag as a professional photographer, but I still like a bag to hold all my stuff. " A link to my camera: http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/shop/Cameras-Camcorders/Digital-Cameras/Lumix-Digital-Cameras/model.DMC-TZ5K.O_11002_7000000000000005702 tabsection #

Wal-Mart, believe it or not, has a good selection and prices are not bad either. I needed a much larger bag ($ 85) because I have 2 and 3 lenses of cameras plus many gadgets and I wanted all of them (except my art flash extra), all in one convenient place. Check the store, you will something.

Panasonic Hd Sd Camcorders

HIGH DEFINITION multi-cameras

On March 26, I asked our multiple HDCAM first job through six cameras Sony HDW-F900 camcorders. It was a wonderful experience which has highlighted several things you should consider if you do similar work.

Firstly, some details. We shot two shows stand up comedian Omid Djalili at the London Palladium. The production company that hired us had used before Procam drawing performance by comedian Ross Noble and other comic acts. The end use will be for a DVD release and possibly television.

We were asked to use F900 because the company wanted the best possible quality HDCAM pictures. And of course, shooting in HDCAM increases the chances for sales International. After talking to HD expert Paul Wheeler, we chose to shoot in 50i, setting interlace used for television broadcast in United Kingdom and Europe (PAL). Paul suggested this to get more of a direct gaze that use progressive scan setting (play movie) would achieve. (An E-Zine previous covering the difference between progressive scan and interlacing settings).

Downconverters
Using the F900 meant having to put Downconverters the back of each camera. Because the F900 has only one HDCAM component output. To effectively direct the filming I needed to watch the images from all six cameras in the main gallery we created backstage. Use of the device component (RGB) output would require three cables from each camera in the wings of our set-up much more a chore and cost of managing a single BNC each buck converter using the HD SDI output. Also, the camera operators needed to use the camera's HD component output to feed the 7-inch LCD HD we went on their camcorder handles so they do not have to look in the viewfinder for 90 minutes to monitor their shots.

Our engineer has concluded that Downconverters, especially older models, are often not to be trusted to judge the clarity of objective and fair. You must be very careful. We have some brand new Downconverters Miranda and they were good when you use the HD SDI output. On the bench of engineering in our offices, we discovered that when you use the SD (standard definition) SDI results are better when the camera is set to 24P. Otherwise, the image tends to be mild and visibility that you see on screen is not the same as the recorded image. The strongest signal came from the HD component outputs on the camera itself.

HD BNC Cables
A couple of comments here. First, if you use an HD-SDI and you need to run more than ten meters of cable you need to use BNC cables that are made to carry signals HDCAM. These cables are thicker and can carry more information. A standard BNC cable simply can not handle transporting the signal over a few meters and you will see nothing about monitoring purpose.

Secondly, one of our cables HDCAM was about ten yards shorter than we needed. We tried to use a cannon to reach the two HD BNC and it did not work. So we had to use the SD (standard definition) output composite video on the buck converter, which, as explained above, is not ideal. To circumvent the problem of looking at images that appeared to be soft and overexposed, I maintained control with the camera operator with the comm system to ensure that saw a sharp image. As for exhibitions, our engineers looked at the images through an HD waveform monitor to confirm that they were good.

HD LCD Monitors
Behind the scenes of our gallery, we used two display models discussed earlier in an E-Zine: The Panasonic BT-LH1700WE 17-inch LCD monitor and the Sony LMD-9050 LCD monitor. It was the first time I had personally worked with them. Both are HD monitors and both are excellent. The use of these new monitors has eliminated previous concerns I had about LCD monitors are unable to offer the same picture quality as CRT (cathode ray tube) monitors. The colors were true, the crisp images and Brightness and contrast were consistent regardless of the angle you see the instructors. They are lightweight and take up less space. And remember not, they are environmentally friendly.

Summary
In short, if you use the F900 for a multi-use camera, use the latest model buck converter, using a compatible HD BNC cable for longer runs and by all means use new models of LCD HD monitors. And of course, to watch Your Focus! Keep it sharp.

Paul Wheeler DVDs
We have some other DVD available with the interview I did with Paul Wheeler on high definition in December. If you wish to receive a free copy just send me an e-mail to cal@procamtv.com.

Until next time, happy shooting.
