It has a USB arm that flips on the side of the camera that plugs into your computer. You can then upload your video to your computer and send it to YouTube or any other video sites. He Flipshare software you can run send your video or edit or capture still images from a video clip.
The Flip Ultra HD is very easy to use. You do not have to be an electronic wizard to use it. You can almost take it out of the box, charge the battery and begin to take videos.
The HD Vado is probably the best value for your money. It's cheaper than the Flip Ultra and HD has most of the same features. The video and sound quality is not as good as the Flip, but it is still very good. It also has a HDMI connector that allows you to connect to your HDTV, but it comes with an HDMI cable.
Both the Vado and Flip HD Ultra HD come with a 2X digital zoom which is really not enough. The HD Vado has a USB port that has a flexible cable that makes it easier to maneuver around a USB port on the computer. 481
The Kodak Zi8 comes with features that the others do not. On the one hand, it has a 2.5 inch LCD screen that allows better view of your subject. It also lets you take 5.3 mega pixel still photos even if the quality is not too good. It also has a digital zoom 4X which is much better than the other two. The quality of picture and sound quality is not as good as the Flip Ultra HD. However, the Zi8 Kodak is always a Camera very good small video.
