Should I buy a digital camera (Sony), or a pocket camera (Kodak)?

I doubt I'll keep it for another 12 months. So I'm considering replacing it now. But I'm interested in camera Kodak. But I will not be carrying anything to be viewed online. All for personal use.
I have the model of cybershot W230, I really like them. I would go with that, I'm not a big fan of Kodak anyway. For me, only makes good Kodak disposable cameras, which are not really any count when it comes to digital cameras and camcorders. The Cybershots take pictures of decent video as well and are relatively easy to use. Edited to add: Take video and put it on a DVD is very easy to do with the Cybershots. I do this with a lot of footage I take my children. It is also useful if you're always interested in anything to load the network too.
