Sony Camcorders Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting Sony DCR-TRV 280 Camcorder?
Any time I spend on my camcorder, it gives me a specific error (C: 31:22). This happened with two of my previous cameras, and now a third. I followed at a fixed address and called numbers on guides, and in vain, it will cost me as much for the ship to be repaired because it will if I go and just buy a new one. If someone has had experience similar and has some advice it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
