Help HDD Camcorder – "Making it Flow '?

I just converted from a Sony camcorder tape to a Sony HDD camcorder. With the band to all the clips merged virtually making it flow. However, the hard drive camcorder stores video in separate files and when it is burned onto a DVD and viewing the video back slightly pause and skip to the next video and does not flow. Can you please help me on how to achieve the "flow" that I like!
