Refurbished Camcorders
Why are there so many refurbished Canon HG10 to sell?
I try to find a good camcorder to document the life of my little son, and I noticed a lot of refurbished Canon HG10 announced. It made me wonder if there could have been a problem of origin with the product. Any help would be appreciated.
HDD based. Very sensitive to vibration (shock) and altitude – and not a HG10-soecific question, but for all consumers HDD camcorders. Add the AVCHD compression is not what anyone expected (it's a bad way to go), and combinationresults in "Refurbs" the manufacturer need to "fix and get rid of" … When the hard drive fills camcorder where you expect to record and archive the video? When the camcorder hard drive fails, how do you plan to get the output video has not yet been transferred?
