Prosumer Camcorders

Need Assistance Prosumer Camcorder Settings. Hurry!?
I have a Canon GL2 and I shoot a wedding on the beach tomorrow. What would you rather see: 1 / 720 shutter 8.0 f stop number (internal) neutral density filter or 1 / 60 shutter 8.0 F Stop Internal neutral density filter video normal is 1 / 60, but 1 / 720 does not look bad either. Also, I am not sure if the ND filter on the Canon GL2 is a real or digital filter (although I think that's true because you can hear on something when you turn it on or off) As for audio, I use a shotgun microphone unidirectional. Well, I can not decide who had the best answer. The concert went very well. My shotgun microphone blocked almost all the wind noise and audio was great. As for the manual configuration, I put shutter-priority for me to turn to 1 / 60 all the time and it came out great. Thank you very much!
Although question. In my opinion, if the wedding is indoors, you will not need the filter density of neurons anyway. If you do use it, do not worry, it is very good on the GL2 Regarding your question on the opening / settings shutter, which is very difficult to answer. Sometimes, a shutter speed that is too high for the amount of light in the environment you photograph, the picture will look grainy. In other words, a fast shutter speed in low to medium lit room will be grainy. However, since you're shooting at the beach, I ask you to be outside some or all of the time. In this case, 1 / 720 will look great! In fact, it may be necessary, as f8 at 1 / 60 of the shutter may be too bright (unless you use the ND filter). My only concern would be if you're going to be switching from inside to outside a little, you will need to take time to resolve shutter. Side note: I have one piece of advice for you. Judging by your question, I can tell you are very meticulous in setting manual. This is a great quality for any videographer (I love manual controls as well). However, I shot a lot of live events, and I certainly recommend keeping the focus on automatic. It would be terrible if your video is beyond discussion. Of course, this is a suggestion So if you feel comfortable with the manual controls on the fly, so do not let me stop you. Good luck and have fun!
