Which camera is better Canon GL-2, or Sony HDR-FX1 Camcorder HDvHigh Definition?

Im getting one of those for Christmas and I just wondered which gives a more professional image quality?

I get a GL2 soon, and although the HDR-FX1 is probably a better image, there is a reason why I chose him. The GL2 is cheaper than the FX1. For now, it's good enough for a camera for me and I can use the extra money to purchase accessories such as microphones, lenses, filters, etc. The HDR-FX1 beats the GL2, but the new Canon cameras Such as the HD-A1 and XH G1 are even better than the FX1. Since the GL2 is from my camera, I plan to use it for a while, then you go, so I was a very decent HD Cam later. If you start with a more expensive device, it will give you better picture quality, but less money for other accessories, and will probably be harder to upgrade a camera cheaper. But to answer your question: when we give more "professional" image quality: FX1. But make a good film (or video) does not depend solely on image quality. So that's why I'm saving more money for other accessories, instead of a good camera.
