Olympus Digital Cameras Drivers
I recently bought a DXG 305V and can not figure out how to take pictures outside. He keeps saying driver error.
I can not figure out what is wrong this camcorder my Olympus digital camera has never been so difficult. Nor anyone elses camcorder seems magnatized? I took the my drawer and a nail was stuck to it.
Uninstall the drivers. Uninstall any software that came with the cam. Restart your computer after you uninstall everything. You do not really need to connect the camera with a USB cable, if you only get an SD memory card reader USB Flash instead if all you want to do is get the pictures out of it. If you are using only the internal memory 16MEG then you have to use a USB connection. Personally, I would get an SD flash card and not deal with the camera connection problems from your computer. Install the downloaded drivers before connecting the cam. Connect the cam only when requested by the software (Win98 or WinMe). Download and read page 44 of instructions for proper installation. After installing the driver, remove the cam and restart your computer. Connect cam to the computer after restart. the wizard to install Windows hardware must work in silence, without any input from you. If he says it will seek a new driver. Do not let it. Cancel the installation. You will need help to replace the default driver that Windows has associated with this device. Without knowing your OS can not describe the process even more.
