What is the best Nikon digital?
for my birthday I'm allowed to get "the camera of my dreams." I know what I want, but I'm not sure what exactly I want. The price range to be nothing more than a little over $ 1,000. I'm looking for something like this http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/Product/Digital-SLR/25444/D700.html (its much) and not something like this http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/Product/Digital-Camera/26120/COOLPIX-S560.html (not compact for me!) I need to know soon so I can order and start with my birthday. I'm looking for images more professional looking out of this camera so I can lower it to college! and yes, it should be a Nikon. thank you sooo much!
The D90 would sit well in your budget if you're looking for an SLR. Part of the new generation sensors, making the D80 (the other camera that normally sit in the interval) obsolete. The D200, which has a lot with the D80 would also be less than $ 1000. Keep in mind that if you get an SLR, you will need money for lenses so you can extend the range of images that you can take. Since you will be great, with only a kit lens alone, but if you want the ability to put some serious zoom, you'll need to invest in a telephoto lens. On the other hand, if you really want an angle wide viewing, expect to pay a small fortune. If this does not sound like something you can fit into your budget, try an SLR-like camera / super zoom.
