Nikon Digital Cameras Under 300

What is a good digital camera?
I need to get a good digital camera $ 300 advanced. Im using it for skateboarding pics. hence need to have a fast shutter speed. I was thinking about both the Kodak M1015, or the Nikon Coolpix P80, one of these is better and you have any other suggestions.
