What type of digital camera has a lens that can take pictures in a small room?

My digital cameras including my camcorder does not really know "enough" field. I'm always in a corner against a wall to get the most out of a scene. I wish that manufactures would now focus on the goal, instead of the size of the insane of megapixels and fancy menus color Digital. The only cameras that I do have my 2-1/4 "and my Yashica 35mm film cameras Monolta. Although I really like digital. I no room for my darkroom more, and digital is cheaper and faster.
