Jvc Camcorders Drivers

I use a JVC GR-D395U DV camcorder. For some reason my laptop no longer recognize it.?

I bought a new firewire cable, so I know it is not connecting. All I can think of is he must need a driver I accidentally uninstalled.

Did you just install Vista on your laptop? Apparently, he is always having problems with firewire.
