How Do Camera Lenses Work
lenses that will fit my minolta x300 camera?
I'm not sure that the lenses can be used for this camera? I do not know what will fit. have no lens SLR camera manual fit my camera?
Your X-300 uses Minolta MC / MD bayonet mount lenses. In 1985, when introduced the Minolta Maxxum 7000 Auto Focus camera they changed their lens mount for the A-mount. This setup is still used today by the Sony DSLR cameras. Only one MC / MD lens mount will mount for your X-300. Adapters are available that allow you to use the M-42 screw mount lenses the camera. Just go to eBay and search for Minolta manual focus lenses. Konica and Minolta merged in 2003, in 2006, leaving the camera business and Sony bought the DSLR line. When your X-300 was made, Konica Minolta and were competitors – companies different.
