How are Camera Lenses Made
I want to buy a camera for shooting sports. What camera lens should I look? ?
I want to take action shots of hockey (outdoor) players. I tried a Canon SLR (forgot the model #) was not enough. Pointers to reading materials, or the camera does and / or recommendations models? Thx
You will need a camera body quick shooting with fast lenses. If you're going Canon, the faster the prosumer DSLR Canon 40D. It gives you 10MP quality and shoots 6.5 fps (frames per second), which should be enough for your photography needs. It sells for about $ 1000 on Amazon. As for a good lens for shooting sports, I recommend the EF 70-200mm f/4L. It's fast, has a good zoom range, lightweight and incredibly sharp. Its large aperture (low number f) allows more light and blurs the background to bring more clarity to the player (s). Best of all, costs only $ 450 at Amazon!
