Digital Slr Cameras Definition
Someone tell me the definition of SLR, when it relates to digital cameras?
My wife and my self are looking for a good camera, but not so expensive. And with technology running leaps and bounds, is confused as to what is meant by all these abbreviants. We appreciate any information on the subject. Where would also be a good place for a search? Thank You
Same as film cameras. Single Lens Reflex, which allows you look through the lens when using the viewfinder, using a movable mirror that rotates out of the way when the shutter is snapped. Unfortunately, not all SLR cameras are euqal, and all digital SLR cameras will cost at least 10 times more to get the image quality even if a 35mm film SLR. You can get a good quality, and full of resources 35mm SLR for under $ 300, but to get a digital that can be the same size and image quality, as is consistently obtained when using good film, as Kodachrome, Tri-X, or port, you will run at least $ 3,500 for a table which is the body, and yet not be able to match the saturation of the film slide, or the contrast of B & W film. For this, you have to buy professional equipment, and you would be looking at $ 20,000. Most digital SLRs talk about megapixels, which are less important than the ability to shoot a full frame image, the ability to capture images in RAW format, and the ability of the CCD (s) to capture precise colors.
