What digital camera should we choose?
We are looking to get a digital camera that can hold around us. What we have began to leave us. My wife is a semi-professional photographer, so she has a nice digital SLR. We want something that is not so bulky we can accomplish around a diaper bag or purse. We would like to spend less than $ 300. Our main use would be to take pictures of our two children. We we want something we can take short video clips on. What do you think is the best camera out there in this price range? I have looked at many cameras, but any opinions and ideas are appreciated. We're not necessarily looking for a smaller camera (so it could be that is a bit bulkier) but we just want him to have the inside lense retract. Also, I am looking for suggestions for specific models. Thanks for the help so far, and keep it coming.
