Digital Cameras Vista Compatible
How can I make my digital camera and Windows Photo Editor is compatible?
I have a Kodak EasyShare C813 and a computer with Vista Home Premium. I like to use Windows Photo Editor to view and edit my photos. I usually have no problems, but when I try to edit and save images that I had with my dock, Windows Photo Editor tells me it encountered a problem and can not save the edited picture. This occurs only with photos I took with my camera dock. My niece also has a EasyShare and a computer that uses Windows Vista Home Premium, but it does not have this problem, Windows Photo Editor edit and save images fine.
Vista is a very buggy OS and unstable – that's why Microsoft has rushed out another OS to replace it. You have to go through and check all the drivers, replace them if necessary. A quickest solution is to ignore the Kodak software and use a card reader to upload images directly on your system.
