Digital Cameras Using Xd Cards

digital cameras using xd cards
advice on memory cards?

I am planning to buy a new digital camera. It uses xD Picture Cards. The camera I currently also uses the same card. I have a 512 MB card. The digital camera I'm planning to buy it has video, a feature that I had my camera current. I'll be going on vacation this summer. Should I buy a card of 1 GB or 512 MB is good for pictures and videos?

You'll find this video consumes space on your card very quickly. But if you're doing just a few seconds worth every now and then the 512 should be enjoyable. Just do expected to be able to store many photos on it also has video. Best to get the biggest card you can afford. In my 5 megapixel camera with the best quality settings (which are the ones you should use!) I can fit a hundred photos and a minute of video on a 1GB card. However card 2GB or more would be preferable. Here are some tips to get good video from a digital camera: 1) Use the highest quality setting available camera. The footage can look quite good, but remember that your camera is not a dedicated video camera so you need all the quality you can start. 2) Hold the camera as steady as possible, or preferably use a small tripod. His film will be awful if jiggling all the way over. 3) Go easy on the zoom. If you have one of these cameras that can zoom while recording, do not do it. It does not help your recordings, and only causes more jiggle as you fumble with the control. Zoom before recording. Cheers!
