Digital Cameras Under 50 Dollars

So your battery door broke and disappeared.
Your battery door broke tabs on it and does not stay closed, so the batteries do not contact and the camera will not turn on.
Your battery door is removable in its SLR so you can add in a grip with extra battery … and where exactly you put it down?
The tiny piece of plastic in its CF (Compact Flash memory card) the door and broke his camera will not turn on!
Oh man … how many cameras out there, do not care, because your memory card door is opened or the battery door is open, even though there does seem there is no reason for this? It's frustrating … these fragile little battery door made of a small ball of plastic are ultra thin and jump like a dry branch, (taking Canon PowerShot SD750 battery door for example … not misunderstand me started on how it was designed!) to your camera useless. What were they thinking when they conceived this? Someone test this thing? Does anyone stop for a second and ask what the reason behind this?
I could work for any large company digital camera and tell them exactly what is wrong with the design of any new releases that camera and save them hundreds of thousands of dollars in repairs assurance and angry customers! Think they would hire me? On the way, I have an engineering degree or a PhD Physics is so I know, right?
I know very well have set thousands of cameras over the past 5 years, I know what's wrong with your camera is not a particular model before you even tell me.
Sony H2 or H5? Broken shutter button. Canon SD850? Jammed lens Canon SD750? Broken battery door … I'm not going to list dozens of cameras here, is not what it is.
What do you do with your camera when a small piece of plastic broken or missing? You paid hundreds for it and once again the guy shop tells you "Throw in the trash, this is the best, it goes to 11." (A little humor the movie there, hey it's 1:30 I'm right) Tell that guy the store a resounding "NO!" and exit. Go home, get into the computer and start surfing.
Back we go to ebay … search for your number model and "port" or "parts" and voila, look what you find!
—> As a side note here (I'm sort of proud thus bear with me) I was the first and only store parts of the world digital camera on ebay. I bought the 100 on camera and noticed that I could and then went out the rest. I sold all the pieces bit annoying that you can not buy anywhere for dirt cheap! $ 10 for a battery door and everything you do to install it twist is the place … and that "geek" in the store said that would be $ 175 to send it to Canon or Sony and have them do it for you …
So you do not find your door or in part, there, keep looking, do not give up yet. I do not want to fix it, no problem, there are places that will make this for you. Hopefully you will find one with decent prices, no one pays $ 50 to install a battery cover for you … please.
(Google: repair digital camera handy … I have 7 of the 10 listings in Google actually fix it and get your camera back to work for less than $ 25-30! It's really very cheap, with many doors for $ 15-20.
I hope this helps you with the repair of the camera, and allows you to keep your camera and start working again for as little $ as possible!
