Digital Cameras Under 150
Does anyone know of a digital camera under $ 150 with a good zoom?
I'm trying to buy a digital camera with a good zoom and not lose quality image. Any ideas?
First, go to the site of a large camera dealer and navigate to the section of your digital camera (I use www.henrys.ca). Make a list of cameras in its price range. Then go to your "digital used" section and do the same thing. Then go to www.dpreview.com and search for reviews of the models you chose. This site scientifically test performance of the lens, resolution, noise, shutter lag, ease of use and other important factors. It then compares the camera to its competitors and makes a recommendation. Finally, make a short list, head down to your local camera store and try them out to fit the hand and general ergonomics. I warn you that one of the major issues with compact digital is poor low-light (ISO 200 and above) performance. While in dpreview, compare the sample images from cameras on your list with those of more expensive models and see if they meet your standards image quality. Hope this helps … Happy hunting!
