Digital Cameras Tutorials

How do I start making 16 mm or 35 mm film?
I have a digital video camera that I use to make short films, but I hate quality, pixelated and jagged want to make films that look more theatrical, and moving images I know and love. I've watched videos on YouTube, 16 mm and 35 mm films made by students and decided that is the look I want to achieve (not necessarily have to be these formats). But how do I start? There are some tutorials Online?
You can get close to the quality of 16mm / 35mm and HD cameras, such as the HVX-200 (It's $ 2500), and adding the camera lens right to it. Record at 24fps. You can use Final Cut Pro to add the granularity of the image digitally. Otherwise, the film cost a lot, and I really do not know how to start. Working with a 16mm camera in film school was somewhat of a pain for me that I decided that I want to do it again.
