Why no digital cameras in all police cars?
We are in the digital age, though some police cars have cameras board. So, the Law states that do – the video evidence is submittable only if the pathologist wants to present it. I like the accused has no access to evidence video. And what about this – I was pulled over for a possible DUI and had my camera in the car, which can shoot video .. I asked my friend (from passengers) to film the sobriety test the field officer was about to give me – official would not let my film is a friend …. Talk about unjust laws? Begin filming the snenario in hand, but when I want, I'm denied.
Almost all vehicles in my agency has a dash cam. You can get the video dash if you file a motion for discovery. You can get it, you just need to know. The manager has every right to control the traffic stop and not let his friend out to interfere with your sobriety tests. It is a matter of safety and common sense.
