DSLR cameras?

I am looking for a digital SLR camera. I would like to have at least 10 megapixels and a battery time. I could really use some comments on what some of you have used and where you purchased the camera. any help would be great. thanks

www.dpreview.com. I suggest we deal with models from different manufacturers in the first place. You may find that one or the other feels good in your hands. Nikon and Canon are both great, and have more support and accessories usually available, but Pentax, Olympus and Sony are also worth looking at. Any one of them will be the beginning of a good system to learn and grow photography.
