Digital Cameras Second Hand
A non-SLR digital good to start with photography?
Simply, I love taking pictures, but I'm trigger happy pocket digicam generation that have a clue how a camera works and never felt the need to consider the composition for fear of losing the film. I am nothing but this shameful, decided during the summer to learn how a camera works and how to use an appropriate form in preparation for perhaps the purchase of a digital SLR this year. Therefore, I was wondering if someone could tell me a good, cheap second-hand non-digital SLR to go to. There are loads to about 50 pounds on Ebay is around my budget, but I have no idea what is good to go for my goal when one considers that learning to use a camera and have no idea what all the numbers and say things about the lenses. The film is also good to use, there are different types. Maybe if someone could suggest a good book to help me in my way, it would be great. Any help appreciated!
The most important think about a SLR used is that it works correctly. I probably would not buy one in ePray if it was my first SLR, but instead of buying it from a reputable dealer camera used (online or local) with some kind of guarantee (well, an option to return at least). I personally like Contax (Zeiss has since), but there are many good manufacturers out there (Pentax, Minolta, Canon, Nikon).
