Conditions may include a diet high lighting (bright sun lit scene out of a window and a shadow under a table that needs to be captured), or mixed light sources (sun, open shade, incandescent and fluorescent lighting all affecting the scene) You can go a little more and shoot for images High-Def, exposing the same shot in the basic over and under Settings, and then compile them.
