What digital camera should I buy for Real Estate Needs?
I work for 3 realtors and we are looking to buy a camera (not more than $ 350), which will have great photos of both inside and outside of homes to include the pictures in our brochures and leaflets on the house. We are currently using a Kodak quite old and that the biggest problem we have is with photos of the interior – it's a sunny day and try to take pictures of a room with lots of light pouring in – the photos are generally very faded. We also have an interest in doing virtual tours (I have a Nikon Coolpix and I know he has a panorama mode that will help show some of the photo before you took so you can align the pictures.) I was looking at the Canon PowerShot A700, and also the Nikon P1, but I'm open to other suggestions – thanks in advance your help!
Too bad your budget precludes a digital SLR. I ran a search on www.dpreview.com with the following restrictions: * Budget <400 * Zoom greater than 28 millimeters (which you need for indoor shots) I have 7 results. Of these, the better the camera was adjusted on the budget (Coolpix 8400) and a the cameras had just 4MP (FinePix E500). Of the 5 remaining cameras, the Coolpix 5400 has an unacceptable distortion in the high end of the zoom and the PowerShot S70 has fringe unacceptablr purple. That leaves only 3 candidates: * Fujifilm FinePix E510 * Samsung Digimax A55W * Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01, I recommend the Panasonic. Here's the review: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasonicfx01/
