Digital Cameras of the Future
What is the best compact digital camera for someone who is in the picture?
So I'm after a compact digital camera as I'll be traveling soon. I'm in photography and the minute I'm teaching myself, but hoping to do some courses in the future. I want a compact camera also allows me to change settings, etc. Any recommendations for a camera or a particular brand to go with? I have a Canon at the moment however is a little too bulky for my travels. thanks!
search for a point and shoot that allows you to change things like ISO, shutter and aperture. Your photos can be so fantabulous (pre-edited) as a DSLR, but if you can manage at least 2 of 3 things you should be able to take some great shots. I have a 4.1mp sony oldschool with several lenses that can be used with it (not a DSLR – it's about a point and shoot), with him I was able to take great shots. If you are serious about photography, but you really should spend a little more money for at least one level SLR digital input. they are a little more expensive, but you can do SOOO much more with them. Nikon D40 for example, is a great entry level camera, is not small, but is smaller than the counterparts more expensive. http://www.deviantart.com <- do a search for Nikon D40 and you will see the great photos you can get with it. if you insist on a pocket point and shoot, you are usually going to give up flexibility and control, but it will not necessarily stop a photographer artistically inclined.
