Digital Cameras Nikon Vs Canon
What digital SLR camera, Nikon or Canon?
I have my selection narrowed to two cameras. The Nikon D80 and Canon EOS XSi Rebal .. Both are similar in price. I'm not a professional photographer, I only have good looking photos. I like the fact that Canon has a live view LCD 3 "and that Nikon has a 2.5 "do not live. Canon vs Nikon has 12.2 mp mp 10.2 (although this is not important to me.) Nikon was greater note of Consumer Reports (not could not find a review for the Canon). Can anyone give me any advice one way or another. Reliability?
I would go with the xsi, because, as already been said, it seems you get more for your money. The xsi in, 5 fps faster than the D80 if that makes a difference. Canon also seems to have more to offer in terms of accessories, and there are many very good books out there specific to the xsi that could help him, he also seems to XSI, it will be easier to find other people who have as he is the best selling DSLR now. I have a xsi, its easy to use and lightweight, in terms of DSLRs, maybe that's a problem for some, but I think when I'm its nice walk to not have the extra weight that most other DSLRs. It can be used in the car complete, but has all the settings you would want once you learn more about photography. XSI is also cheaper, so the money you could go to save a bag or an extra battery. You probably would be happy with anyone, just to see how they feel in their hands, read some reviews and choose what you personally are more comfortable.
