Digital cameras?
I am looking for an excellent digital camera to take photos with a wide variety of subjects, all of class with my daughter ballet movement with lots of nature. Any suggestions?
You did not mention how much you can afford it, then I can only suggest some general attention. Just look at some tests and comparasions. – For nature photography, you will need a wide range of zoom 8x optical zoom by less (the digital zoom is ruining the image quality). – Good macro skills (must have a closepoint less than 10 cm for photohraphing small parts of nature). – Quick speed Shutter for quick movements of his daughter, 1 / 2000 sec or 1 / 4000 sec would be even better. – At least 6 MegaPixels resolution recommended to have good photographs. Whether a small compact camera, or you do not care about a SLR (big, heavy lenses can be changed for different purposes). It is the first SLR that costs a lot, but the additional equipment: lenses, filters, tripod … As for me, I have a Canon EOS 350D with 4 lenses (two of them quite large and heavy), I trully love it, but to Sometimes I need a backpack to carry them all. 
Nikon are also excellent experience, I still very few them.
