Digital Cameras Good for Sports

What is the best digital camera for sports my children? need to have action scenes, close-ups, and easy to use.?

I do not want one that I have to do a lot maually adjustments. If possible would like a "point and shoot" camera that God is close-up shots and clear action.

and most digital cameras have a delay. FYI. you do not have to do a lot of settings. But if I were you I'd get a cybershot song. they run from about $ 200 to $ 400 depending on the mega pixels .. that really means nothing unless you want to enlarge the photos:) shares Kodak easy are awesome too. but I'm not sure how they run for.
