If images are to work on the Web, is a moot point. The image of the film has to be processed digitally and here I believe that the digital camera to have the edge and give a better picture, it is filmed in digital. With the film is an extra step and so the image can be reduced enuf to make a slight difference, but I doubt it. As I said, it's actually getting harder to tell these days. I shoot with a Fuji S-5 D-SLR and printing with an Epson 7600 wide-format color printer 8. Some jobs can come off the printer when matted, framed and hung, people were surprised to learn that the digital age, even at 16×20. What many people do not understand now a days is that when they have their negs printed, many are scanned and run through a digital printer, a Fuji Frontier is used a lot here to say what the process is now better again is a moot point. Many machines 1 hour are digital. The film scanned and printed on photographic paper LED's and run through chemicals. Some machines are real inkjets high speed and can scan the neg and print darn near as fast as the old way. However, you cast 6×6 film or anything else in this equation and the film will win hands down just because a person could buy a clothes all Hasselblad and accessories for the cost of the next digital revolution that can shoot out movie this size.
