What are the main things to look for when buying a digital camera?

A lot depends on the type of shots you will be taken. If You point and shoot variety instantaneous, so you do not need many of the things I look for in a camera. For me, I'm looking at prices, megapixels, optical storage media zoom, ease of use, manual controls for more creative photos, etc. I have a lot of outdoor shots of landscapes, but I do not want to take a big camera bag with several different lenses – which excludes the DSLR for me. Then, after I have an idea what I'm looking for, I do extensive research online – Read User reviews of more than just professional opinions, because I want to know what people who have this camera thinking it. Another way to review the cameras for Google is the camera you are interested in reading the reviews and you find there. One caution: In "CNet", make sure to read the comments to User of any camera that review, because I discovered that real users of cameras seem CNET explosion on its quality review. Heck, a camera that I'm really interested in was given a poor rating by CNET, but users – including professional photographers – say that the camera I was reading about it is much better than CNET said.
