Is this SLR camera is good?

Each camera should meet your needs. Sony has their version of Image Stabilization (IS) on the camera body so any lens you use will become an IS lens. Canon has their version is, in some of their lenses. The A230 can use every Minolta Maxxum AF lens made since 1985.
