How do you transfer videos from a camcorder JVC GR-d395u to a computer?

I have a JVC camcorder (model No. GR-d395u). It came with a USB cord and software to connect to my PC. But even if I managed to install the software, I do not know how to transfer videos from the camera to the computer. The instruction booklet explains how to transfer images, but I have an ordinary digital camera for that. I want to download videos in real movement. Can anyone help me?
