Canon – known for their quality products – has released another amazing camera – the EOS 50D. Like all their cameras, this model improves one of the missing features or flaws in previous models. If you liked the 40D, you'll love the 50D as it is packed with everything a photographer could need.
Like many other guns, the EOS 50D is typically used by users of intermediate to advanced. Amateurs or beginners may find this camera a bit intimidating because there are a number of features and functions that most beginners not in use.
The 15.1 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor improves resolution and allows a much wider range in ISO settings. ISO settings in the 50D, will now 100 to 3200. With advanced technology and additional bonuses, ISO sensitivity settings can actually be extended to 12,800 (H1: 6400, H2: 12.800).
Some features in the 50D, which were absent in the 40D, Vignette is AutoCorrect Lighting Optimizer three levels of adjustable noise reduction, a creative auto mode, a micro lens adjustment function, face detection and autofocus in Live View mode.
The Canon also includes features such as 6.3fps continuous shooting, DIGIC 4 9-point wide area AF, EOS Integrated Cleaning System, HDMI connectivity and full compatibility with EF, EF-S lenses and EX Speedlites-series lenses. The overall performance, the 50D is amazing with the integration of DIGIC 4 processor. This technology also increases the overall resolution of images.
Over there is a 3.0 "Clear View VGA LCD of the EOS 50D. Live View mode and Face Detection Live AF were closely integrated in display, to live a more realistic experience. The LCD displays images at a resolution of 920,000-dot – dynamism pure experience. The screen is protected with a protective coating, fingerprints, dirt, scratches and glare.
With measures 5.7 x 4.2 x 2.9 inches and weighing just under two pounds, the EOS 50D stands comfortably in your hands. The Canon EOS 50D selling for around $ 1,399 depending what discounts you can find. This award is for the camera and basic accessories only. Kits or packets are available at a higher price, with different objectives as well.
Consumers who are familiar with Canon products, particularly the 40D will have no trouble adapting to this new model. The 50D is almost the same pattern as the 40D, with little progress technological improvements and features. The 50D is an excellent addition to the collection of a photographer cameras.
