How do you upload videos from a Canon ZR80 DV camcorder?
Does buying a IEEE 1394 cable FireWire solve the problem? Then I can send videos using this cable you do with a USB cable? Or is it just firewire cable to the camcorder into a web cam? Also, if I can upload videos with the firewire cable, my camcorder does not come with software. I have read everything for two days of a very Crapy manual on the Canon site only for this model, and a bunch of other things and nothing yet clear that the FireWire transfer your videos on your computer only on this particular model, I might add! ZR85 and ZR90 do, because they have an SD card and a USB cable with software! Simple! Thank you for helping those who may have a clear answer if I can go ahead with it all. Iridflar Thank you for your answer! The Video Cam has a 4-pin FireWire port, and my computer HP Media has a 6-pin port. Hope this helps.
FireWire is the way upload your video, but you'll need a card installed in your PC if you do not already have one. Video editors include capture application – you can use Windows Movie Maker to start, so you might want to watch something a little more powerful once you get the hang of publishing,
