Troubleshooting movie mode in digital camera?
I have a Canon Powershot S410 – when I set it to Movie mode and try to write, it just take a picture. In response to the little information I could find online, I have already removed all the other photos from the memory card and am using the original card that came with the camera (so it is formatted correctly). Any ideas?
Are you sure you move the mode dial to mode Film (the small icon of film camera)? If you have, and the camera will not record a movie, then obviously you have a problem … and maybe you have to do without the movie mode. The camera is now 3 1 / 2 years and you may want to consider upgrading in the future. The benefits of this is the best camera with newer technology and a movie mode so much better
