What is the 4x digital zoom?
im on the camera with 20x optical zoom with 4x digital zoom .. which means 20×4 = 80 zoom? or am I missing something. PowerShot SX20 IS a canon
The digital zoom is expanding its image electronically. Imagine that you are looking at a picture on your monitor, Now, enlarge the image and you will see it. But the problem is, it's like zooming into a picture that is already in the vision of 100%, expanding, so will picture blur and look bad. So all in all, digital zoom digicam is useless, you should simply ignore it.
