Do I need a voltage converter to charge my Canon camcorder?
I am traveling to India with my new canon camcorder U.S., do I just need a plug converter or a voltage converter even with my charger?
Since you do not tell us what Canon camcorder, we can not point you to adapters specific manual, but generally will be provided AC lately with just a candle / (AC converter voltage is not necessary. It should also be written (but very difficult to read) on the adapter itself. I was in Monaco last year and had a similar concern with my Sony camcorder … and did not need the plug / adapter – even with my laptop). But I got a voltage converter, just in case … The Canon camcorder manuals are readily available on the Canon Web site.
