When the still image mode, it can still capture images with a maximum of 8.02MP in the resolution. This model comes with a pop-up flash and also a tiny remote. It has a 10x optical zoom and up to 200x digital zoom. The lens on this camcorder has a 6.4 mm – 64 mm focal length. It also has a spacious 2.7-inch LCD can be rotated in several directions. It has no internal storage where all the videos are stored directly into the SD card. In terms of connectivity, it has component video output, microphone port, headphone port, 1 USB port, a HDMI port and composite audio / video output. This camcorder ships with a battery pack, AC adapter, manuals, video editing software, USB cable, stereo video cable, wireless controller and a cable component.
Design: The specs powerful camcorder Canon VIXIA HFS100 is balanced by elegant designs. This camera has black exterior (with a touch of gloss silver). The camcorder together like a solid short cylinder with the LCD attached to one of its sides. The camera lens appears huge proportion of the rest of the camera, giving a very professional look. I think this model is one of Canon cameras best looking! It measures 2.8 x 5.4 x 2.7 inches and weighs just 15.9 ounces.
Features and performance: the Canon VIXIA camcorder has HFS100 a new custom dial that lets you conveniently select custom settings. The most external controls are well placed where Your fingers can easily reach. The menu interface was also seen significant improvements (it has a smooth touch). Video quality recorded at 17 and 24 Mbps are very impressive. The exhibitions were excellent at the colors are very realistic. An optical viewfinder coverage more crystalline solid, it was the perfect camcorder. The Canon VIXIA camcorder HFS100 may be a little on the expensive side, but if you can spare excess liquidity, it is certainly worth every penny.
