Camera Lenses Tokina
film lenses for my Nikon digital. Thus, the choice to go with the Nikon is an easy film. The choice of which camera to buy is not so easy. I my search reduced to 4 choices. The Nikon F5, which cost me $ 650/used/demo condition. F4s Nikon, which cost me $ 400/used/excellent condition. Nikon F100, which cost me $ 800/brand new and .. Nikon FM-10, which cost me $ 350/brand again with a lens included. My only real needs and preferences are a vertical grip / shutter, a shutter speed, and a solid feel. Weight is not a factor I think. I own a 1224 and a Tokina 80-200 f/2.8 Nikon im so used to cameras heavy weighted. I know F4s and F5 Tues vertical shutter release built, and has the F100 takes an optional accessory. I want the best for less bright. And it's bad to buy used to say Adorama, Sight Unseen?
I can assure F4s as solid .. I had to use it as a defensive weapon and I can still use it to shoot like a Wildman. As my D200, it will use all my lenses, autofocus and manual. The F100 is a lot like my D100 or D200, which could be the same body. From Ken Rockwell: "The Nikon F100 is the second-best 35mm camera ever made. Surprise! In 2004 Nikon introduced the F6, which is a little better, but very expensive. Get an F6 if money is no object, get a used F100 if you want to buy half of the century.
