Do I rly need a movie mode on a DSLR camera?
I was thinking about buying a Nikon D60, but I also saw the D5000. And so the D5000 has feautures more and everything, but I rly need. Here in Canada, the D5000 is like $ 850-900 body only as is $ 550 d60 with lens 18-55 VR. So should I go to the rly D5000? Do i rly need to live and features movie mode?
If I wanted to make films, I would have opted for a film camera. Movie-mode is a toy camera LiveView DSLR and not an obligation to have. I never use live-view! If you want to create images, consider a camera in terms of picture and not video. Suggest D40 / D60 depending on the post-processing you will be doing. With the money saved, you can buy some good lens.
