What kind of camera should I get for the photography class?

I'm taking Photography I in high school. The course requires a 35 mm lens single reflex camera. What brands do you recommend? Keep it under $ 200, please!

you can go to school very early and get a Minolta X-370. I have one, is great. But I have to say, I mainly use my Nikon D90. You could get the Minolta veryyyyy cheap, it's almost 21 years … Then, yes. Or you can try a Nikon FM10. It's a little more than $ 200, but it's really good.
