Camcorders Target
Is it useful to fix my samsung mini DV camcorder or should I just buy a camcorder? Its a scd303?.
I bought a little over a year at Target. I used twice for a total of about less than two hours of recording. He tried to use it again and he now has a black screen on LCD and also I can not see through viewfiender. The LCD also shows the words and things, but not what I'm seeing. I feel pretty bad because it is still so new, but I think it's gone. I do not spend much money for the repair if it is not worth it. I really need to record a special event and if I do I buy another camcorder, but they are so expensive too. Tell me what to do. Thank you guys.
Well it will not be covered by the warranty. If you send it for repair with Samsung it will cost about 100 pounds which is about $ 200. Depending on how much you paid, it may or may not be worth repairing. I suggest buying a new Sony camcorder specifically because they use a Carl Zeiss is the best qwality. Well its your decision if you want to spend much money for repair. You can also take a camera shop service repair which will cost less but they may further damage the camcorder.
