PAL, which means P hase A lternating L ine, is an analog television system used in many Asian countries, Africa and Europe to show the video. The current PAL has a resolution slightly higher than his brother NTSC is used in most North American countries as well as some Central American countries, Asia and the Pacific areas, which are U.S. territories.
