Camcorders Optical Zoom

The new Canon PowerShot SX20IS is a new mega-zoom model just out of mid-August this year (2009). It is the successor model SX10IS very successful has been reining maps bestseller for some time now.
One of the new features available on the PowerShot SX20IS Canon is that it can record HD video at 720p. This model uses a 28-50mm wide-angle lens which has a 20x optical zoom. The zoom can be used while recording video. It also has a 12.1MP sensor image, and like most new Canon models, uses a DIGIC 4, which produces excellent image quality.
On the back of the unit, you will find a 2.5 inch screen LCD which can rotate at different angles. There is also a button that is dedicated to recording videos that you can record movies with a simple pressure button.
As successor of SX10IS, the new Canon PowerShot SX20IS did not disappoint. It retains most of the major features of the old model (user-friendly interface) and allows them to complete a couple more. The picture quality is quite amazing given its price range. They were even better in many respects than those taken on some of my digital SLR cameras more expensive.
At first glance, the Canon PowerShot SX20IS may seem a little bulky, but it is actually surprisingly comfortable to hold. It has a smooth, comfortable grip and feels very durable. From the looks this new model, it seems that Canon is set on the flange of the mega-zoom camera market for a long time to come. Currently, the Canon PowerShot SX20IS sells for around $ 399 each.
