Camcorders: hard drive vs. flash memory?
I'm about to buy a camcorder. One of the main things I look for is Quick and easy access from the camcorder to the computer for storage. Therefore, I believe, is embedded in the disk drive or flash memory, but I do not know the advantages and disadvantages between the two, except that a flash memory) is sold separately & is an expense additional. B) each individual stick of flash memory generally has less space than built in hard drive. C) Once the disk is full, you must emptied to create more space, but with a flash memory of everything you need to do is pop in a memory stick. Have I missed something here? Also, can someone give me an estimate of the number of hours you can save per GB of storage space, assuming an "average" video quality? Thank you in advance!
